Why This Book Matters

On India's Health Paradox

"We're living longer than previous generations, but not always healthier. Too often, the decline begins quietly, long before we notice it."

On Modern Health

"Medicine has helped us live longer. The next challenge is ensuring those extra years are lived well."

On the Indian Body

"Indian health risks are often different from those seen in Western populations. That's why we need solutions built around our own realities."

On Ageing Well

"Ageing is inevitable. Degeneration is not. You cannot stop time, but you can influence how your body travels through it."

About the Author

Dr. Navin Gnanasekaran

Longevity Physician, Author & Head of Radiology, Apollo Hospitals Chennai

Dr. Navin Gnanasekaran is one of India's leading Interventional Radiologists and currently serves as Head of Radiology at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.

Over more than two decades of experience, he has witnessed the full spectrum of human health from the beginning of life in maternity wards to the most critical moments in intensive care units.

Through thousands of patient interactions and years at the forefront of diagnostics, he observed a troubling reality: while Indians are living longer than ever before, many are spending those additional years battling preventable chronic disease.

His work across clinical medicine, longevity research, lifestyle medicine and preventive health led him to a simple but urgent conclusion: Indians need a health and longevity playbook built for Indian biology, Indian lifestyles and Indian realities.

That conviction became The 100 Year Blueprint.

Published by Pan Macmillan India, the book translates complex medical and longevity science into practical, evidence-based guidance that readers can apply in everyday life.

Personal Note

“The greatest risk to our health today is not what we don't know. It is what we assume will never happen to us. Real change begins the moment we stop thinking of health as a backup plan and start treating it as our most important long-term investment.”
